My name is John Dishman. Like you ...Hello Brian,<br /><br />My name is John Dishman. Like you I was once a ruling elder at Emmanuel OPC. My wife Susan (now deceased) and I joined in 1967 when the church was in the old house in Morristown, later purchased by my employer: AT&T. All three of our sons: David, Mark and Peter were baptized in the building that was constructed around 1970. Before being transferred to Texas in 1989, we sat under the preaching of Cal Bush, Larry Morrison, Bob Letham and Ivan Davis. Several of us helped form Emmanuel Christian School, and two of my sons graduated from it before our move to Texas. I share your sadness at seeing the building torn down. There are many fond memories of the activities it hosted including worship, Sunday School and Emmanuel School events. My wife was co-principal with AnnTinette Kapp. Thanks for starting this blog and as time allows I will try to contribute photos from those days.
